I most often recommend the Trainer (603) analysis for most horse owners looking to take the guesswork out of their forage feeding. It includes sugar/starch testing, mineral testing, and energy testing. Remember that results are only as good as your sampling method, so test a minimum of 10 bales with a forage probe that cuts into a cross section of the bale. *No hand sampling.
